I had thought of it the other day sat in college when raj was talking to us,
i had noticed that when he had turned around to look at the board, he would carry on turning the same way to look at the mac, technically a circle,
This got me thinking about the link between our environment and people actions towards that environment, for example take a rave. A light show at a rave normally consists of strobes, laser's and smoke machines, but think,
Most light show lasers only move in two directions, up and down, when people rave it is normally just jumping up and down. can we prove this has a link, no we cant. look at more examples where you will start to see the same thing,
If you turn up to a disco with a partner and a slow song comes on, you go for a dance, why is it always you find yourself turning in one direction?, could it be a link between a disco light turning in a circular motion, or is this just a fluke, at the moment i am not sure but i think it is something i will take on board very strongly and look into in allot more depth.
We know that people's thoughts are effected by there current enviroment, example a blue colour wall makes you feel cold, also it depends on what they can hear or see.
I want to try something,
you will need two people to do this
Sit in a silent room opisite the other person,
one person must clench there hands together like they are saying a praye,
interlock you fingers, but point only your two closest fingers outwoods,
keep all your other fingers together though, inc your thumbs.
This is were we need the other person,
So far there should be a person sat directly oppisite you with there hands locked together,
it is your job to relax them as much as possible, make sure there feet are flat on the floor, they are sat up straight, there is no noise and it is not to warm, nore cold.
It is important that you keep eye contact but try not to stare, this will make your subject feel uneasy,
just infront of them so they can see clearly i want you to take your finger and start to wave it in a circular motion at a steady rate, rember to keep eye contact and calm,
The subject that this is beeing tested on, after about 1 min 30 should start to feel there two fingers pulling towards each other, the harder they try to stop them the quicker it will happen.
It would be very much appreciated if you could tell me what the result was if you chose to test this.
